SEPTEMBER 2007
At the 2007 Independent Music Conference in
Philadelphia, Kay Pere was one of the 5 recipients of the 2007 Immie Awards,
recognizing her exceptional achievements as an independent artist and social
activist. Bill and Kay presented workshops and were mentors during
the 5-day event. Also receiving Immies were John Lilley, guitarist
for the internationally known group, The Hooters; Robert Case, music
publisher from Denver; Coole High, Brooklyn Hip Hop Artist; The Tokyo
Tramps, a country/blues group originally from Japan. (News

teaching a songwriting class in Westerly (Westerly Adult Education) on April 23

THE ENSEMBLE RAISES more than $4,000 with
School Concerts in Baltic, CT and Bradford, RI (

Bill and Kay with radio personality (The Voice of the

In March
, the Ensemble will be at the United Methodist Church in Mystic on March
3, 3pm, and at St Michaels Center in Baltic on March 10 to benefit the
Holy Family Home and Shelter in Willimantic. March 24 will have the
Ensemble at the Bradford Elementary School in Bradford RI to benefit the
Jonnycake Center
FEBRUARY
Bill and
Kay will be performing in in the village in New York City at Baggot Inn,
on February 25. Bill will be presenting a songwriting seminar.
The
Ensemble returned to Pine Point School on February 10 for a Hunger Awareness
concert, raising $1000 for local social services
agencies.
