Practice Schedule for Fall 2007-08

Regular Practices are 3-5pm on Sundays, beginning Sunday, August 26
with a special event at J.B.Williams Park in Glastonbury (about 1 hour
from Mystic) We will be performing at the Pavilion as part of the CSA summer
Showcase. We will perform from approximately 1:30pm-2:30pm.
It's a beautiful facility with pond, trails, playground, covered pavilion,
grills, etc. There will be performances all day by lots of talented folks.
07-08 SHOW DATES so far (We're expecting several more in the Spring) We will
also be holding another Voices For Hope event.
PARENTS: For all shows, unless otherwise specified, bring a plate of snacks
to share with the audience after the show.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR: We now have a full set of V-drums and a
digital trumpet.
PERFORMANCES DATES SO FAR:
August 26 (see above)
Saturday Sept 15 - St James Episcopal Church, West Hartford. 7pm . We
will participate in the annual CSA Day of Praise, performing "Footsteps,
"Rhythms of Our Heart", " "Blessings", and "Circle"
Saturday November 10 Union Baptist Church -- Veteran's Day Tribute with
special guest Tom Callinan (Connecticut's first Official Troubadour ! )We'll
need to learn some special songs - a set list is enclosed. Several solo
opportunities.
December 01 -- Holiday concert, 7pm Union Baptist Church, Mystic Special Event to
follow.
There will be no regular Holiday sage production in 2007. We will however be back
in 2008 with a bigger production in a new location.
Holiday Party to be scheduled sometime between Xmas and New Years Day.
Saturday April 5 - St. David Episcopal Church , Ledyard. Hunger Awareness
Concert.
arrive between 4:30-5:00 for

Saturday April 12 Shoreline Soup Kitchen Benefit, Old Saybrook.
Remembering Harry Chapin: A Hunger Awareness
Concert. First Church Congregational, 366 Main St, Old Saybrook arrive between 4:30-5:00 for
7pm show
Friday May 9 Shubert Theater with the original Chapin Band !
Plan accordingly for travel time to New Haven for a 3pm arrival. We will
go to Friendly's after the show.
NEW __ SUNDAY May 18, Central Baptist Church. Westerly
3-5pm CONCERT. Arrive 2pm. Friendly's after the show.
More stuff may be added during the year. If you want to have us play at your
school or church ask your music teacher or principal or Pastor to call me. The next
University of Hartford performance will be in Spring 2009.
RECORDING SESSIONS:
Recording sessions will be scheduled at various times during the year and are
attended by invitation only. We have 2 new CD's to be working on.
