Dec 2008:
I have just recently witnessed many help those less fortunate by attending a play put on by Bill Pere and the L.U.N.C.H (Local United Network to Combat Hunger) ensemble. I was in the play, and I have to say, it was all fun and games  until we sing the songs about people going hungry. At some points, despite the fact  that I was wearing a broiling hot and stuffy ape suit, the songs sent chills down my spine. I thought it was great that so many people attended the event, and I am happy to say that Kimo and Parker (and my man Adam) came, and paid for tickets. I had lots of fun performing, but I also thought of people who are in need, and those two feelings combined were very meaningful to me. ..Tristan Y.

You people are amazing -- I didn't know what to expect but I was totally blown away.  I hope to be at more of your concerts from now on.    Amanda C.

What an amazing program !! I'm so glad to have met you through your Voices For Hope project, and I'd like to become more involved in what you're doing.

Bill gave me a preview of what you're all doing on the new CD !  It sounds incredible, the songs are great, and I can't wait until it's all done.

I've gone over your website and want to congratulate you on all that you have accomplished.  You have changed the course ahead for so many people.
It is with great honor that I sit here now smiling and think that I was once part of it.  I must admit, the sight of you piano coat gave me a big goofy grin.  I want to give you my thanks in letting me be part of the production.
I do know that looking back on it gives me a warm feeling in my heart and I hope that all the volunteers to come have that same feeling when they look back on their experience as well.

Hi Everybody - Just wanted to write and say thank you to everyone for the birthday card. That meant a whole lot to me. I hung it up right in the middle of my music room! I had a really great time at the University of Hartford show. You guys all sounded AMAZING. I was (as I usually am) extremely impressed with the quality and togetherness that you guys have. You really made for a wonderful show that (from my vantage point) sounded great. Thanks again for the birthday wishes! Marcie and I will see you all soon! --Scott

Hi Everyone! Great show last night! I had a whole lotta fun! As I told to some of you last night, Marcie and I are moving to Maryland (near Baltimore). I received a very good job offer down there. I wanted to tell everyone how much I have enjoyed playing with LUNCH. The group is amazing and a wonderful organization to be part of. I am honored to have had the opportunity to be part of it. You guys have made both Marcie and I feel so welcome. You are all family to us. That is why this is not a good-bye. Marcie and I both agreed to come up from Maryland and play in as many shows as we can. It won’t be every single show, but we will be up for some of them. I want to especially thank Bill and Kay for everything. You guys are really the magic that makes this all happen. For anyone who wants to e-mail me, my address is: sivakofs@yahoo.com See you guys in the fall!!! Keep the circle spinning!!!! Scott

I would just like to say how much I now like the LUNCH program. I was recently involved in the Dance Band on the Titanic Production at Tyl Middle School, and now appreciate how many people in Connecticut actually do go hungry every night. Thanks!
